POSITION

Tarragon Northwest is searching for an experienced, detail and task-oriented Project Coordinator to organize all types of projects, from simple activities to more complex plans. The Project Coordinator will work closely with the development team to prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources, time frames and budgets for projects.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Work collaboratively with the development team to maximize productivity
  • Reports updates verbally and in written from to management
  • Monitor budget and help to ensure resources are used efficiently
  • Completes any administrative tasks, such as research and email
  • Demonstrates commitment to clients’ needs and confidentiality
  • Break projects into doable actions and set time frames
  • Manage project timelines and update as needed
  • Identify and define requirements, scope and project objectives
  • Monitor projects, identify any scope changes, seek appropriate approval and document changes
  • Analyze risk and opportunities
  • Monitor project progress and notify management of any issues that arise
  • Work with the Development Team and assist as needed
  • Issue all legal paperwork, such as contracts and terms of agreement
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project document, plans and reports
  • Assist with budget and cash forecasting
  • Travel to job sites, check on progress, take photos and document

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education, Training and/or Experience

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required
  • Additional certifications that exemplify a desire for continued education preferred
  • Minimum 2 years’ relevant work experience in the industry
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Excel and Office
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, excellent organizational skills
  • Strong client-facing and teamwork skills
  • Must have excellent attention to detail with an ability to prioritize projects/workload
  • Attention to detail and an aptitude for problem solving
  • Able to proactively address potential issues
  • Collaborative working style and team-player attitude
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Reliable, motivated and committed to team’s success
  • Able to thrive in a high-volume, deadline-driven work environment
